A team from long-time Diamond installer RA Dalton is preparing for a marathon challenge on Saturday (2 July) – walking 26.2 miles in aid of three charities.
The walkers will set off from RA Dalton’s head office in Cowshill, County Durham, and will finish 26.2 miles later at their office in Crook. They will be raising funds for:
- Cruse Bereavement Support, which supports those struggling with grief
- Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, which funds the early detection and treatment of cancer, and clinical trials of anti-cancer drugs
- Great North Air Ambulance, a dedicated helicopter emergency service for the North of England, serving North Yorkshire, the North-East, Cumbria and Scottish borders
WCS Group have donated £100 and would like to wish the walkers the very best of luck!
Sam Makepeace, Marketing Executive from RA Dalton said: “Thank you to everyone who is supporting this office challenge to raise money for three fantastic charities. If you would like to join us, bring a friend – the more the merrier!”
